About Claire Bateman
Claire Bateman's hybrid collection, THE PILLOW MUSEUM is forthcoming with FC2 Press in January 2025. She has been awarded Individual Artist Fellowships by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Tennessee Arts Commission, and the Surdna Foundation, as well as two Pushcart Prizes and the New Millennium Poetry Prize (also twice). She has taught at Clemson University, the Greenville Fine Arts Center, and various workshops and conferences. She lives in Greenville, SC, and is poetry editor of Hubris.
Our opening reader is Lisa Spears, author of her debut book Releasing Birds.
